The Only Constant in Life is Change

Dear Friends of The Lands Council,

After much consideration and with a heart full of gratitude, I will be stepping down at the end of this month from my role as Communications Director at The Lands Council to embark on a new(ish) journey. I am thrilled to announce that I will be taking on a full-time position with Girls on the Run of Spokane County, an organization that empowers young girls to embrace their limitless potential through running. As many of you know, I have worked at both organizations for 9 years and the time has come for me to focus on one endeavor.

My time with The Lands Council has been an incredible experience, especially these last few years. It's been an honor to work alongside such dedicated and passionate individuals, and I'm immensely proud of the work that we've accomplished. Whether it was urban tree planting events, riparian restoration throughout the county, or organizing a national iPCB campaign, every step we took had a profound impact on our local environment.

I am deeply thankful for the unwavering support of our volunteers, whose dedication to our mission has been nothing short of inspiring. And I will miss taking pictures of you doing all the hard work! To our donors, your generosity has allowed us to make a real difference in our community, and for that, I am truly grateful. Your encouragement and enthusiasm has been a driving force behind our success.

While this decision brings mixed emotions, please rest assured that my commitment to this amazing organization remains steadfast. I believe in the mission of The Lands Council wholeheartedly, and I will continue to support it in any way I can.

The Lands Council has a bright future ahead, and I have every confidence that the incredible team here will continue to make a positive impact on our environment and community. I encourage you to keep supporting this organization that means so much to me, as your contributions truly make a difference.

Although my role at The Lands Council is changing, I am not saying goodbye to the wonderful friends and colleagues I've had the privilege of working with. I look forward to staying in touch and continuing to collaborate whenever possible.

If you would like to reach out or stay connected, please feel free to contact me at box.lindsay@gmail.com. I would love to hear from you!

Thank you all for being an essential part of my journey with The Lands Council. Together, we have made a positive impact on our environment, and I am excited to see the continued success of this organization in the years to come.

Hugs and high fives,
Lindsay
